General contractor software
Keep every general-contractor handoff connected.
ProBuilder OS gives residential general contractors one operating record from the first inquiry through proposal approval, project delivery, client communication, and final payment. Each role gets a focused view without separating the story of the job.
- Connect sales, proposals, production, financials, and clients
- Give admins company-wide control and assigned staff clear ownership
- Carry approved job context into production without rebuilding it
Built for project-based contractors
A general contractor does not need another disconnected point solution.
Residential GCs coordinate a long chain of people, dates, decisions, documents, costs, and client expectations. When lead notes, proposal terms, schedules, field updates, invoices, and messages live in different systems, every handoff creates another chance for scope or ownership to drift.
Leadership keeps the complete view
Owners and authorized admins can oversee company leads, assignments, projects, financial signals, team activity, and access from one workspace.
Assigned people control their work
Salespeople and project owners get direct control of the leads and jobs assigned to them without gaining company-wide administrative access.
Clients get a separate experience
Publish the appropriate progress, schedule, payment, file, change, and message information while internal notes and operations remain protected.
Connected capabilities
Everything important stays attached to the work.
Use focused workflows for each responsibility without creating another isolated source of truth.
Lead and pipeline control
Qualify opportunities, assign ownership, track activity and follow-ups, and keep every salesperson accountable to the next action.
Professional proposals
Create detailed client-facing scope, set one exact project price, define custom payment terms, and preserve review-ready revisions.
Project operations
Coordinate project status, assigned managers, tasks, schedule events, daily logs, documents, and important operating risks.
Project financial visibility
See contract value, approved changes, collections, and balances. Pro and Business add category budgets, committed and actual costs, paid amounts, forecast profit, and role-scoped company earnings.
Role-aware team access
Separate owner, admin, salesperson, project, field, and client responsibilities while keeping records synchronized.
Client communication
Keep shared messages, invoices, files, progress, changes, and relevant schedule information attached to the project.
General contractor operating flow
Run the business as one connected project lifecycle.
The record grows as the job advances, so the next responsible person starts with context instead of a blank screen.

Questions, answered
What contractors should know.
What is general contractor software?
General contractor software helps a GC coordinate the business and project records behind a job, including leads, proposals, schedules, tasks, documents, costs, changes, team responsibilities, and client communication. The best fit depends on project type, company size, and the depth of field, financial, and collaboration tools required.
Is ProBuilder OS designed for residential general contractors?
Yes. ProBuilder OS is focused first on residential general contractors, custom home builders, remodelers, and other project-based residential construction teams.
Can salespeople manage a lead after it is assigned?
Yes. An assigned salesperson can manage the lead, sales activity, proposal workflow, follow-up, and eligible conversion steps. Owners and authorized admins retain company-wide oversight and transfer control.
Does ProBuilder OS replace accounting or advanced scheduling software?
No. ProBuilder OS provides user-entered operational project cost and earnings reports plus shared schedule visibility. It does not perform accounting, payroll, tax, accounts payable, or bank reconciliation; does not currently synchronize with QuickBooks or another accounting system; and does not provide advanced critical-path scheduling. Current capabilities and roadmap items are labeled separately on this page.
