Keep every client conversation attached to the project.

ProBuilder OS gives project teams and homeowners a protected, project-specific communication record. Staff choose what is shared, clients reply from their own experience, and internal notes never become client messages by accident.

  • Keep two-way messages tied to the correct project
  • Publish files, media, invoices, changes, and updates deliberately
  • Preview purpose-built Pro and Client apps now preparing for store release

Communication with a boundary

Clients need clarity—not access to the company’s internal workspace.

Calls, texts, inboxes, file links, and verbal decisions make it difficult to know what the client actually received. ProBuilder OS keeps homeowner communication attached to the project while preserving a clear line between published information and internal operations.

01

The conversation has context

Two-way messages remain inside the correct client and project record instead of becoming a detached company-wide chat.

02

Sharing is deliberate

Authorized staff decide whether a file, photo, video, invoice, change, or progress update is client-visible or internal only.

03

Roles remain appropriate

Clients see the responsible professional as their project manager while internal sales roles and company operations remain private.

Connected capabilities

Everything important stays attached to the work.

Use focused workflows for each responsibility without creating another isolated source of truth.

01

Project-specific messages

Keep builder and homeowner replies in one protected thread scoped to the client’s own project.

02

Controlled files and media

Upload secure photos, short videos, and documents, then mark each item shared with the client or internal only.

03

Published financial context

Show authorized invoices, due dates, and payment status without exposing unrelated internal financial detail.

04

Progress and key dates

Share approved progress updates and useful project dates while private field and planning detail stays with the Pro team.

05

Change-order decisions

Publish a non-draft change for client review and preserve the client’s project-scoped decision in the shared record.

06

Pro and Client mobile experiences

Use purpose-built staff and homeowner apps connected to the same authenticated project record; public iPhone and Android store release is in preparation.

Builder-to-homeowner workflow

Share from the project, respond in context, and preserve the decision.

The web workspace and mobile apps being prepared for store release use the same project boundary, so staff can communicate from the field while clients receive a focused view of their own job.

Start this workflow in ProBuilder OS
  1. 1

    Invite the homeowner

Send the client a protected account invitation connected to the correct company and project rather than sharing the internal workspace.

  2. 2

    Choose what leaves the team

Publish the appropriate message, file, invoice, change, progress update, or date while internal notes and uploads remain protected.

  3. 3

    Continue the project conversation

Staff can reply from the web workspace or Pro app, and the homeowner can respond from the client web or mobile experience.

  4. 4

Keep the decision with the job

Return to the same project history for messages, shared information, change decisions, and the context behind the next action.

The operating difference

Replace scattered client channels with one protected project record.

Before

Work gets reconstructed.

  • Decisions split across calls, texts, and inboxes
  • File links lose their project context
  • Internal notes risk being copied into client updates
  • Homeowners ask which information is current
With ProBuilder OS

The record moves with the job.

  • Two-way messages stay with the project
  • Every shared file has an explicit visibility state
  • Internal operations remain protected
  • Published updates and decisions remain revisitable

Questions, answered

What contractors should know.

What can a construction client see in ProBuilder OS?

A linked client sees only their authorized project and information deliberately published to it, including project messages, selected files and media, approved progress information, key dates, published invoices, and non-draft changes. They do not see the company’s internal dashboard or unrelated jobs.

Can clients reply to project messages?

Yes. The current client experience supports protected two-way project messages. Staff and clients communicate inside the same project boundary so the thread remains connected to the work.

Are internal notes protected from clients?

Yes. Internal notes remain in the authorized Pro experience. Files and media also have an explicit client-visible or internal-only choice, which helps staff review the sharing boundary before publishing.

Are the ProBuilder OS mobile apps available in app stores?

The purpose-built Pro and Client mobile apps are built and connected to the authenticated platform. Public App Store and Google Play distribution is still in preparation, so ProBuilder OS does not yet present store download badges as if release were complete.

Who does the homeowner see as their project manager?

The homeowner sees the responsible professional for their project as the project manager. Internal salesperson labels and company role structure are not exposed in the client experience.

Does ProBuilder OS currently sync email, text, push, or read receipts?

Not yet. The current product provides protected in-platform messaging and controlled project publishing. Email and text capture, push-notification preferences, and message delivery or read controls remain planned.
